Embryo Transfers & Testing

Pregnancy Confirmation
Receive your first pregnancy test 10 days post-transfer, followed by a second if positive.
Completed Program or Refund
If a pregnancy is not achieved after 3 attempts, eligible patients may qualify for a refund.

Additional PGS Embryo
Patients may transfer 2 embryos with provider approval. The additional embryo will cost $2,500 for the non-PGS program and $3,500 embryo for the PGS program. Single embryo transfers are advised to increase changes of a healthy term baby.

Questions You Might Have
What is the difference between donor embryos, donated embryos, and embryo adoption?
Donor embryos are formed using donor sperm AND donor eggs. Donated embryos are embryos left over from another person/couples treatments and then donated to a recipient. Embryo adoption is a misleading term because there isn’t an actual adoption process, but the term is often used to refer to donated embryos.
What is PGS and why consider it?
PGS is genetic screening that reduces miscarriage risk and allows optional gender selection.
What if it doesn’t work?
We are so confident in our donor embryo success rates that we offer qualified participants a 100% refund guarantee. This refund can be applied to an additional 3 transfers with a second guarantee. The second round of 3 transfers would NOT have a guarantee. Could say “additional 3 transfers without a second guarantee.
Is donor information available?
Patients receive detailed information about the egg and sperm donor, including their medical history, family history, ethnic background, and various parts of their social history including information about the donor’s personality. Patients have the opportunity to review this information and decline a proposed match if the information in the donor profiles is not acceptable to the recipient.
How soon will I get matched?
Most candidates are matched within months, where as traditional donated embryo programs take years to provide a match.
Do you treat patients outside of California?
Yes! We’ve helped patients from across the world with pregnancy. Patients can work with their local doctor or fertility clinic to help coordinate testing. Patients will need to travel to our clinic for treatments. During your consultation with one of the treatment coordinators you can ask about available hotels near our center.

California Conceptions Donor Embryo Program is a program offered by California IVF Fertility Center in Sacramento California. The program offers patients the opportunity for three embryo transfers using high quality embryos from donor sperm and donor eggs. The program is offered at a flat rate of $21,000, and patients may qualify for a refund of the program costs if they are not successful after 3 transfer procedures.
